Greetings readers!
Last weekend was definitely an interesting one, for those of you who don’t know I’m talking about Eros Galicia 2010 which celebrated it’s second visit in the city of A Coruña. For you english readers I’ll sum up it for by saying it’s an erotic (pR0N) festival that started last year in Galicia, Spain.
I couldn’t resist the urge to satiate my curiosity and just had to go to the event and meet some of the porn-stars as well as check out all the other festivities. It was one hell of an experience! Amidst all thongs, muscles, leather, and curves galore… it dawned on me, (admit it, you thought it once too) “Do any of these curvaceous monuments made of flesh play videogames??” Obviously this became the biggest thought on my mind from the moment I went in to the second I got out, well that and scissors! *ahem* Anyway… More after the break!

I just heard the good news! No, wonderful news! StraCraft II closed beta has finally started, which means the release date is just a little closer, and that makes me happy in the pants. Don’t think this is great news? Fine, go fornicate yourself with a gigantic Ultralisk! Seriously though, this is killer, so I log into my battle.net account like an excited Charlie opening a Wonka Bar “HOPING” for a golden ticket, errr closed beta access… Read the rest of this entry »

Finally we have the launch trailer for Bioshock 2. The first chapter still is one of the best game experiences of this generation, aclaimed by critics and winning a lot of awards. Its strange, but this new Bioshock haven´t received too much hype as its predecessor, and looks awesome. The trailer shows the problems and inconveniences of been a Big Daddy, the worst have an enemy as the Big Sister. Great watching, the game will be hitting stores just the 9 of this month.

Every now and then you come across a game which you enjoy looking at more than just simply playing it. Masumura: The Demon Hunter for the Nintendo Wii, is such a game. It’s combat system is really simplistic and repetitive but the backgrounds are absolutely stunning. I’d find myself upon entering a new area admiring the backgrounds rather than worry about the 12 ninjas dropping on my head. Read the rest of this entry »

The New York Post has recently published an article about the US army’s vision for soldiers of the future. Visually it looks like something out of Halo or a storm trooper from Star Wars and according to the article:
Aided by “smart drugs,” enhanced with prosthetics, and protected by a lightweight suit of armor, this soldier of the future possesses near super-human capabilities and weapons that would make even Iron Man jealous. He’s suited up in an “exoskeleton” – essentially a Storm Trooper-esque external shell – that allows him to carry heavy loads. Electronics integrated in his outfit allow for simultaneous language translation, automatic identification of potential foes, and video-game-like targeting. If the soldier is tired, overworked, or injured, neural and physiological sensors automatically send an alert to headquarters.
