About

60FPS is a blog that intends to stand out and give more than just a superficial view on video games. The name implies what most consider the ideal frame rate to play within the video game world and can be considered a limit. Most experts agree that our eyes aren’t capable of seeing more detail beyond 60 frames-per-second but there have been tests of combat pilots who where able to pick out a single image at even higher rates.

Our goal is to go beyond that limit and go into further detail about the video games we love and hate and how they affected us, society, and the world.

Currently the blog consists of four authors, each with their own tastes and dislikes (see our introductions for more information):

Harry Forsón (art)

Orballo

Yiedra (web design)

Pirateman

The blog is bilingual, the majority of the articles will be in spanish considering Yiedra is the only bilingual author but total translation may be a future consideration. In order to change the language simply click on the language of your choice which can be found on the right sidebar.

We’re currently a work in progress and hope to deliver what we promise. Welcome to 60FPS, try to see beyond the limit!
