I bet Sony is cursing youtube and the internet in general by now. Leaked fotos and videos have revealed that Sony’s new handheld system is the “PSP Go” and will be showcased during the E3 this week. One of it’s key features is that it will no longer use the failed UMD system but will rely on flash memory instead.
Sony’s John Koller said the following in one of the leaked videos:
“It’s a 3.8-inch screen, it’s 43% lighter than the PSP-3000, 16 gigs flash memory, Bluetooth support and all digital content so the UMD drive goes away. So it’s going to be something a lot of consumers like – download straight to a hard drive.”
Sounds good, I might actually consider replacing my PSP lite with this new little toy. My issue as always though is wether it will be region specific or not.
