Sorry that after more than a week of not posting I’m going to post a rant but tough luck, I’m one pissed off WoW freak! So here’s the jist of it, Wrath of the Lich King released officially at midnight November 12th/13th. The store I ordered it from didn’t get any copies yet on the 11th or the 12th so here I am without my copy of the to be one of the first to step into Northrend.  Sure, it’s logging into a lagfast full of server disconnects and the like but I have the right to see it, I’ve been playing for 4 years dammit! However it seems I’m not the only one who has this problem. I suppose this “midnight launch” was done in order to prevent the fiasco that happened two years ago with The Burning Crusade but hey, that’s part of the fun! I was expecting to be able to log in today and hop on one of the boats to Northrend with another 1000 individuals and land on the shores of our new adventure but noooooo!

Now I have to wait till the 10AM on the 13th which is when the store opens to get my copy… and even then there will probably be a ridiculous line to purchase it. Part of it is probably incompetency of the mail system here in Spain or the store in general, in other countries many where able to preorder via mail and get their copy of the game a day or two in advance. Plenty of time to install then activate their accounts on midnight.

Oh well, I guess Yiedra and my yet to be created Death Knight will have to wait.
